(This is another copy-and-paste job from my dA group, RetroSonicClub):

As you may recall, towards the end of last year the creators of the iOS/Android Sonic 1, 2 and CD remasters spoke about a proof of concept that they’d put together for a remastered Sonic 3 & Knuckles - SEGA don't want to greenlight the project and so an online campaign was started to try and change this.  I wrote a journal on this group about this, which you can read here: retrosonicclub.deviantart.com/…

The online campaign has now moved into the next stage, and this is how you can get involved:

- Visit the website: www.sonic3remastered.com/.  Here, you'll find a letter; add your name and address to it, print it off, sign it and mail to SEGA Networks in Japan (who could potentially get this game greenlit).  All the details that you'll need in order to this are on the website.

- Once the letter is ready to go, if you like, take a photograph of it and Tweet it out with the original hashtag, #BringBackSonic3.  As before, if you want to Tweet to SEGA themselves about this, then it's SEGA of Japan that you need to focus on: sega_OFFICIAL.

- If you don't like the written letter idea, or if you want to do something extra in addition to that, then there's also an online petition which can be found here: www.change.org/p/sega-release-…; This could also be Tweeted about with the hashtag to help draw attention to it.

As I said before, if you want this to happen, please spread the word.  Be it on social media, gaming forums or somewhere else entirely, this campaign won't take off unless we push for it.  I've made a Tumblr version of this journal entry if you want a starting point: jenhedgehog.tumblr.com/post/11…
